Our Adoption Package


Our Adoption Fee is $250. We also offer a 10% discount to returning adopters and to adopters that adopt more than one dog at a time (Greyhounds LOVE Greyhound companionship)!

Your Greyhound will come with the following:
  1. Spay or neuter
  2. Rabies and Distemper combination vaccinations*
  3. Wormed with Drontal Plus
  4. Bathed and treated for fleas/ticks
  5. Teeth brushed and scaled
  6. Nails trimmed and ears cleaned
  7. HomeAgain Microchip with pre-paid registration and one year of expanded services
  8. One-month heartworm prevention (Interceptor or Sentinel)
  9. Dental Kit
  10. One-month flea & tick prevention (Advantix or Frontline Plus)
  11. Medical paperwork showing heartworm-negative test needed for perscriptions, vaccines given, and spay/neuter certificate
  12. Race History and Pedigree from Greyhound-Data.com
  13. Premier Martingale collar and 6-ft lead of your color choice
  14. Your dog's track muzzle
  15. Toy and Compressed Rawhide Treat
  16. Customized 3-ring binder with online resource lists, assorted informative inserts on everything from feeding/nutrition, Greyhound-specific medical info, and places to buy Greyhound Gear, and assorted brochures
  17. Exclusive access to our online adopter discussion board for GEGR adopters only
*If your dog was a previous-owner surrender (not straight from the race track) we try to make sure that the vaccines are valid for at least six months. Also, your veterinarian may suggest other vaccines based on your area.
